Nyetimber Magnum Classic Cuvee Brut Sparkling 2009

Blended from Chardonnay Pinot Noir and Pinot Menieur, the classic cuvée has a generous creamy texture which epitomises the harmony of flavours that a blend of these grapes can bring.

“Maturing, creamy nose with a lovely Chardonnay character. Great personality – full and rich, yet with pinpoint structure. A return to form after the 2008. (RH) ” www.jancisrobinson.com

“British patriots might opt for a glass of English Sparkling wine, and what better than Nyetimber, one of a quartet of Sparkling Wine producers who have an international reputation for producing light, fruity, ethereal sparkling wine… This is absolutely delicious, wonderful, golden hue….citrusy bouquet and pleasing aromatic dryness on the palate…” Will Lyons The walls street journal

“The wine itself is perfect from start to finish. Made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot meunier this follows the traditional method of Champagne production. Even the bubbles appear to float to the top of the glass in such a way that says “look at me, I’m amazing” in their wondrous golden glory. The steady stream from just a single point, like someone had installed an oxygen pump to my receptacle. If that wasn’t enough, the drink somehow comes alive when sipped, like it turns into a soapy foam consistency. And then I swear the taste actually changes while it’s in your mouth. Starting with the taste of lemons then onto brioche, honey, walnuts, acorns oh my goodness, Willy Wonka would find it difficult to make such a product.” The hungry Londoner.
